Zoo Lights

Our local zoo has started doing "Zoo Lights."  During the Christmas season, the zoo gets decked out in lights.  So last Saturday, after a yummy dinner at Bombay House, we bundled up and walked around the zoo to enjoy the lights.  Anja and Christian both loved all the lights. 

Another great aspect to being at the zoo during the night was being able to see the animals more active.  The monkeys were having a great time.  We especially loved the Asian Highlands exhibit.  There is a cute snow leopard cub who was feeling very frisky.  We walked up to one of the windows.  He was crouched down under that window.  When Anja walked up, he ran right across the window sill by her.  Then a few minutes later, he jumped up on the window sill right in front of her and tried to swat her across the face.  We were happy there was a window separating them. It was quite a lot of fun!
