We had our 2nd annual trip to see Ballet West's production of the Nutcracker. Anja was so excited and couldn't understand why it didn't just start with the dancers - not the overature. (She thought they were warming up.) She loved watching the dancers. Afterwards, we were able to attend the Sugar Plum Party. We were able to go onstage and meet some of the dancers. Anja was also able to look at some of the props up close. We loved to see that the dolls each of the little girls dance with in the first act all have dresses on exactly like the costumes used in the second act. We also loved looking into Mrs. Baffoon's large dress to see where the children hide. What fun day!
