Saturday was our trip on the "North Pole Express." Christian had been looking forward to this event for weeks. He couldn't wait to meet Santa and tell him what was on his Christmas List. After cups of hot chocolate with whipped cream and cookies, we arrived at the North Pole. Santa was there waiting for us. Our car was the last car, so we were lucky to be the first car Santa visited. He gave each child a silver bell and spent a few moments with them. Christian was so excited and told Santa he wanted pirate clothes, a pirate peg leg, and a pirate eye patch. (Even thought he was dressed in his cowboy getup, he still has pirates on the brain.) Anja was very sweet with Santa and asked for a jewelry box.
