Turkey Day

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.  Wednesday started by meting Anja for her school's annual Thanksgiving Feast.  She had school that day, but we were able to check her out early.  As soon as Denver came home from work, we packed up the car and headed to Sundance.  Most of our family were getting together at one of the Ashton's family cabins (the Bunkhouse).  Sundance was a perfect place to be!  We spent the entire weekend there.  Stephanie's family, Nikki's family, Tom, my mom and dad, Uncle Chuck, Aunt Sue, Amy and our family were all there.

Thanksgiving day was great!  Not many pictures were taken, but the turkey was wonderful as well as everything else.  Little Christian had so much fun playing with his cousins, Layla and Malac.  He was up bright and early each morning ready to get dressed so he could play with his cousins.  They played many games together as well as sat side by side while playing their technical devices.

We did not hit any shops at all on Friday or Saturday.  We spent the weekend the way I think it should be spent - relaxing with family. ( Denver and I are completely against Black Friday - especially since it is starting to creep into Thanksgiving Day.)  These cute turkeys were made by Brynlee and Anja.  It was a great holiday and we were all sad to see the weekend end!
