Happy Father's Day!
I am afraid to say that Denver did not have the best Father's Day weekend. With two dance performances, being stuck in traffic until 12:30 am Friday night, working until 3:30 am Sunday morning, and taking care of a sick boy Sunday morning, Denver didn't get very pampered. He was a good sport about it, though. Anja tried to make Sunday morning special by making breakfast for him and seeing to his needs while I was at church.
- He shares his homemade shakes with his children (which means he gets a little and they get a lot).
- He has pretty much given up golf , his favorite sport, so he can spend more time with his family.
- He will snuggle with his daughter until she falls asleep - even if he has an early meeting the next day.
- He lets his children "help" him with projects he is working on, thus taking twice as long to complete.
- When taking his children to buy "sensible" play shoes, he gives in and buys the non-practical ones as well.
- He has watched movies not of his choice over and over again.
- He has found himself laughing at Sonny With a Chance.
- He lets the Disney Channel be the main channel watched.
- He lets his daughter be "Queen of the Remote."
- He lets his son "talk" to him on the phone while he is at work.
- He works very hard every day.
