4th of July

Our 4th of July started with Suncrest's annual pancake breakfast and bike parade. Anja was so excited to ride in the parade with her training wheels off.

After the parade, we took off for Provo. After swimming in the pool, we walked over to Stadium of Fire. Anja had been counting down the days until she could see the Jonas Brothers. She didn't appreciate all the events leading up to their performance. Finally, the JoBros came on stage. Anja was beside herself - as well as thousands of other screaming girl fans. The combined scream had a definite "high" pitch to it. I think Anja got a bit overwhelmed by the whole of it all, because she didn't seem that excited at first. I think she was trying to take it all in. Eventually, she got into it and loved it! She loved singing and dancing to their songs. It was a great concert!

The fireworks were great! These are just a few of the many pictures Anja took during the show. I thought Christian wouldn't appreciate the fireworks, but he couldn't turn his head away from it all. It was a great way to spend the 4th!
