Vacation Day 4

After two days of snowing, the little ones were finally able to take the new sleds out for some fun.  Christian and Denver had spent almost an hour again snow blowing and shoveling our driveway.  (That was the third time in a 24-hour period - and no, our dog didn't get to the groomers today, either.)  After getting the driveway under control, we decided sledding was in order!  We took the kids to a somewhat mild hill.  They had such a great time!  Christian's squeals and shrieks could be heard from quite a ways a way.  Even though it was cold, about 20 degrees, they didn't seem to notice and had a wonderful time!
The inflatable sled seemed to be the best.

Anja trying "knee boarding."

Christian having so much fun!

Look at the joy on his face!

Cheese!

The mommy doesn't have snow clothes, so after a while, I headed back to the car....I found some creative ways to entertain myself.

We went to downtown SLC to have dinner and see the lights at Temple Square.  We were amazed by the trees.  I can't even imagine how many hours are spent wrapping lights around each branch.  The results are amazing!
