Breakfast with Santa and the Nutcracker

Today was an exciting day for Anja. This morning we braved the snow storm and had breakfast with Santa at Thanksgiving Point. Anja was really excited to meet Santa and tell him what she wanted for Christmas. We had a lot of fun! Anja was able to meet Mrs. Claus, the Grinch, a gingerbread man and the Sugar Plum Fairy. There were also many fun activities that she was able to do. She was able to write a letter to Santa and put it in his mailbox when she went up to sit on his lap. It was a really fun morning.

That afternoon, we left Christian with Nikki and took Anja to see Ballet West's production of

the Nutcracker. She had been learning about the Nutcracker in her Ballet class and she was really excited to watch the ballet. It was fun for me to watch Anja's reaction to the ballet. She loved it! I hope we can make it a yearly tradition.
