And The Snow Keeps Falling

So this morning's snow storm dealt us a whopper! We already have a ton of snow, and it just doesn't seem to stop. Although our new church building is only about 2 minutes away from our house (in our neighborhood), church was cancelled. The snow plows hadn't made it up to us yet, so there was no way to get into the church parking lot. These are a few pictures of the havoc the storm did. The first two pictures are from our front porch. The porch is now lower than the snow drift in our front yard.

Denver decided to trek out into our back yard to get the swings off the playset. The slide is just a bit shorter than me, and Denver is towering over it. Another picture is of our sliding glass door to the back yard. The snow is just keeps piling higher and higher up the window. The others are pictures of our back yard. The snow has now climbed higher than our fence in several places - the fence is quite a bit taller than me. Crazy!

While Denver was outside, Anja decided she would join him for some snow fun. She had a lot of fun climbing up on her playhouse. Denver actually had to dig out the door to her playhouse so she could get in. The playhouse is almost full of snow. Anja had a lot of fun climbing out the back window. Will it ever melt????
