August is for Anja

August is the month of Anja. She had quite a month. She had a great time in Southern California and then the rest of the month flew by. Before we knew it, it was her birthday! Anja had only asked for one thing for several months now....a Barbie Jeep. She was so excited when we took her to the toy store to pick one out. She can steer a bike really well, but seems to freeze up when it comes to driving the Barbie Jeep.

Anja also started school. Her first day of school was the day after her birthday. She was so excited to meet her new teacher. (She calls her "Mr. Walton." Even though her teacher does not in any way resemble a man.)

Anja loves school. I can't believe that she is getting to be so big! We can't believe that we have a three year old - she is such a cutie pie!
