Regional Science Fair

Today was one of the longest "school" days ever!
Anja had the regional Science Fair competition at UVU today after school.
Her set-up time was at 3:30 (her set up was all of 30 seconds.)
The judging was from 5:00-7:00.
Anja had three different judging times during that time.
If she missed any of those times, she was disqualified.
Luckily there was a game room close by. (That was Christian's saving grace - Xbox.)
Since Denver is in Japan, both Andrew and Christian had to tag along with us.
Then there was an hour break before the awards were announced.
There were a ton of kids there and Anja didn't think she would move on. She was ok with that because she knew she had done her best.
We were all happily surprised to hear her name called during the awards ceremony.
Now she gets to compete at BYU at the CUSEF (Central Utah Science & Engineering Fair).
She will be one of about 875 students that will be competing.
Great job Anja!
