We love the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival. This year was the 25th Anniversary. Many of our favorite story tellers were there. Bill Harley and Bil Lepp are two of our all time favorite tellers. Anja and Christian especially love Bill Harley. We listen to his stories on CD and also occasionally hear him on the Kids Place Live radio station. They were so happy to see him again. The kids also look forward to the pottery place. It is fun seeing what they will create each year.
Denver really loves Bil Lepp. He spins a web of lies so finely, that it is almost impossible to know where his story stops being factual and starts with lies. The endings of his stories are always such huge and hilarious lies, but you can never pinpoint exactly where it became a lie. He won the West Virginia Liars Contest so many times, they had to make him the MC of the event to let someone else have a chance. We love the storytelling festival!
