This has been such a big month for Andrew developmental-wise.
So much has happened in just a short month.
He is our cute little monkey!
By the end of the month Andrew:
- Learned to wave the day after he turned 8 months. He loves to wave at everyone he sees. He especially loves waving "night-night" to Anja and Christian.
- Has learned to clap, but prefers to wave.
- Loves to eat. He wants whatever we are eating. Although he only gets small tastes at times, he thinks he is so grown up. He really loves eating his "crunchies" snack.
- Was put on Mirolax to help with his not so fun constipation problem.
- Got pink eye for the first time. (Thank you Christian.)
- Learned to crawl. Oh the freedom!
- Can pull himself up to a standing position. He doesn't like to fall down, so he usually whines when he is ready for someone to set him back down.
- Got 2 more teeth - his two front, top teeth.
- Gained only one pound in three months. This is because he NEVER STOPS MOVING. He is constantly on the go.
- Got his second hair cut.
- Gets very silly and loopy when he is sleepy. He finds almost anything amusing and will laugh hysterically at whatever or whoever is amusing him.
- Figured out how to open cupboards. He thinks the items he finds in them are so interesting.
- Although he says "mom" when he is stressed and needing me, he said "Da-ee" for the first time to his dad while face timing.
- Loves to growl and grunt. If he is displeased with one of us, we know because of his grunting at us. We call him our Growly-Gus.
