It has been so fun watching this little boy change. He is no longer an infant (sniff) and is the cutest little boy. This little peanut continues to delight us more and more!
At the end of the 4th month, Andrew:
- Ate rice cereal for the first time from a spoon. Just before he turned 4 months we started putting it in his bottle to keep him full longer. (He was wanting to eat every two hours again.) His first try wasn't a favorite for him, but on the second try he was so happy to be sitting up and eating like the rest of the family! We have since tried oatmeal also. He has been a very good eater.
- Loves to grab any thing he can get his hands on. He loves reaching for toys and putting them straight into his mouth. (Everything goes directly into his mouth.)
- Started sucking on his toes.
- Loves to take a bath. He kicks and squeals the entire time he is in the bath.
- Recognizes when it is time to pick up Christian from Kindergarten. He will squeal all the way to the school and continue "talking" to Christian. He loves being with his mommy, but really loves Anja and Christian.
- Had his first trip on an airplane and did wonderfully. On both trips he fell asleep right at take-off and woke up shortly before landing. He charmed several people on the flight.
- Had his first trip to Disneyland.
- Had his first crush - Snow White.
- Is very affectionate. He gives very slobbery wet, open-mouthed kisses. When he is feeling playful, he will grab onto your face and rub his slobbery mouth on your cheek. He will laugh while doing this, thinking he is so funny!
