The last week of school was kind of hard for Anja. Everyone else in the neighborhood was done with school and the playing had begun. It was difficult for her to go to bed when she could hear kids her age playing outside. Luckily she had a fun week. With a read-a-thon, awards assembly, talent show and field day, it made the week better.
Anja received three awards at her school awards assembly. She received awards for Presidential Fitness, Art, and Honor Roll.
The last day of school is one all the kids look forward to. It is the only day the kids can wear "normal" clothes. Her last day is always field day. Anja had so much fun playing water games and playing in bouncy houses. Her talent show was also the last day and she did a great job playing the piano!
Anja was sad to say goodbye to her friends and teachers, but looks forward to next school year. We can't believe she will be a big time third grader!
