For months now, Christian has gotten himself dressed on his own in the mornings. This is the outfit of choice. (We are lucky to say that this "outfit" has only been worn to school once - it was "Small World Days" at school. The kids were allowed to dress in heritage type clothes. Who knows, maybe there is a pirate somewhere in our genealogy.) Christian is obsessed with pirates. He watches parts of Pirates of the Caribbean at least once a day. This usually happens in the car, much to Anja's dismay. Every time Captain Jack Sparrow comes on the screen, he claps. Christian can also sing the theme song to the movie as well as Jack Sparrow's theme song. You always know some adventure is about to take place when you hear Christian singing the theme song. We love it!
