Amazing Race

A few weeks ago, around midnight, a strange invitation was placed on our door.  It was an invitation to participate in an amazing race type party/game.  To get us more interested in coming and participating, there was a clue on the back of the invitation we had to decipher and locate in order to give us a head start on the game. 

Last weekend was the much anticipated race.  We were part of the red team.  We were given the task of finding 15 clues scattered in different places around Draper.  We also had to participate in three different pit stops.  Two of the pit stops were very interesting for us.  For one, I had to participate in the dine challenge.  Five of our team members had to eat the entire edible contents of a paper bag.  Inside we found: a can of sardines, a can of Vienna sausages, a dog bone, 1 packet of saltine crackers and 1 bottle of seltzer water.  Although we were thoroughly grossed out, we were the first team to get everything down!  Denver's challenge at the last pit stop was to hold a live WORM in his mouth for 1 minute.  I didn't know if he would gross out or not, but he handled it quite well.  Our team had a great time racing around trying to find the locations to our hidden clues.  When it was all over, a winner was declared.  Sadly, our team didn't win, but we had a great time!
