Anja started taking Karate in September of this year. She is/was the only white belt and the only 5 year old. (The next age is 7.) Although Anja was a bit intimidated at first, she has grown to really love Karate. Yesterday, she tested for her yellow belt. Denver and I are both so proud of her. She had to get approval from three of her Karate teachers, her school teachers and her parents in order to get the yellow belt. Anja was so excited! She had to do her katas in front of the whole class. This used to make her very nervous, but isn't nervous any more! Way to go, Anja!
