This past week our family went to the Draper temple open house. Despite waiting quite a while to actually get to the temple, we had a great time. Anja was so excited to see the inside of the temple, she was practically running through the tented area to get to inside. The temple was absolutely breathtaking. It is just such a beautiful and peaceful place. While we were inside the Celestial Room as a family, I was able to get a glimpse of what Heaven will be like with our sweet family! It was a wonderful feeling that I will never forget.
Despite the fact that it was Christian's nap time, he was awake the entire time, until the bus ride back to the parking area. He looked so cute on his Daddy's lap.

So sweet! There are 3 new temples announced for AZ. I can't wait to take the kids inside during the open houses! Granted, it will be a couple of years before that happens, but still it's exciting to look forward to.
kasey! i'm so excited to go through it later this month. it looks BEAUTIFUL! and so close to you!! it would be so fun to get together sometime soon! maybe at nikki's baby blessing!!
