A view from our front door. This drift is about as tall as Denver.
So we quickly realized that living in the Suncrest Community that our climate was quite a bit different from the rest of the city of Draper. Since we are at about 6200 feet, our weather can sometimes be very different from everyone else. Take yesterday, for instance. We received almost 24 inches within a 24-hour period. Crazy!! Plus, it has started snowing again today. The two pictures give you a good idea how much snow we have received since winter started - and it isn't finished with us yet. The forecast predicts more snow over the weekend and into next week. We are so thankful we have a snow blower! I am also thankful that Denver is here this year to do all the hard work of clearing our driveway. This is his first official winter here with us and I don't think he realized what he was getting into.
